Verdict

BEAT THE SHOWER returned to form with a victory over today's trip at Thirsk last month. He has winning form on soft ground and is taken to follow-up off a 4lb higher mark. Shifting Gold also returned to the winners' enclosure last time when scoring over 1m6f at Southwell. He'll handle any cut but has yet to win over today's distance, while better is expected from Salontyre who struggled in better company at Ffos Las a fortnight ago. Mojolika has been raised 8lb for last month's easy win over C&D but is unproven on the going and Mungo Park was a well beaten favourite over a shorter trip last time after landing his maiden at Hamilton.
