      Verdict

Not much to separate these on figures and we will take Bonjour Bond to beat Argent in a forecast. Bonjour Bond hasn't shown too much on the track thus far and with his stable in a modicum of form at present, he gets the very tentative selection in this race. Argent is well bred but disappointing. Declan Carroll has evidently burned the midnight oil in an attempt to find such a poor race. Ciacole was well held in selling grade at Pontefract and is sent to the well again. Warif is a John Dunlop castoff while the others have shown little to write home about. Bonjour Bond is recommended at a minimal stake.
