Verdict

Dorans River won this a year ago, his only start on the track, and scored again at Ballinrobe last month. Fred The Foot gained his third victory over hurdles at Limerick last time and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run but Ask Nile, though a winner between the flags, has yet to prove he stays this far over hurdles. The Veteran BYE BYE O BYE has been in good form for most of the summer and is probably still well enough handicapped for another victory with Rachael Blackmore a very positive booking. Jaime Sommers won on the Flat at Tramore a couple of weeks ago and, though he doesn't win often enough over hurdles, is capable of going well from this mark.
