Takeachancejimmy had shown little before an improved run at the Curragh though that was over the minimum trip. Althib is still a maiden after 14 starts but was staying on over 7f at Gowran last time and can race from a lower mark. Pushaq was well supported at Naas last month but never really looked like winning and his two victories have been at Wolverhampton. TEXAS RADIO went up too much for his victory at Gowran but has been running better than his form figures suggest and the assessor has given him a chance. Although a wide draw is not a plus, his young rider's claim can see him back in the winner's enclosure. Fair Game has won from much higher marks but hasn't run since October.
