In depth

Verdict

Criterion could be another winner for the Stoute yard, Craigstown and Sea Admiral look best of the others. This well bred son of Dr Fong was never seen with any sort of a chance on his debut but wasn't given a hard time. The ground was probably a shade too fast in that Newmarket race and we should see a better performance on this softer surface. Craigstown has shown plenty of promise in two races to date and could now be spot on for this, he looks a big danger. Sea Admiral disappointed a little last time out but certainly has claims on his debut effort. Prairie Storm and Celtic Dragon are two newcomers to watch out for in the betting, but we expect Criterion to come on leaps and bounds and he gets the verdict.
