      Verdict

      Sleipner attempted to make all over 7f at Brighton on Tuesday but could only stay on at one pace when headed a furlong out. Gratzie scored over this trip at Leicester then was beaten over 7f at Beverley in a slightly better race. Sweet P finished last on her belated reappearance and Mendacious Harpy was beaten a long way when runner-up at Yarmouth. Distant High is consistent at this sort of level and should get into the frame but a chance is taken with EXECUTRIX. Sir Michael Stoute's filly has shown nothing in maidens and makes her handicap debut but she is superbly bred and a victory would do wonders for her paddock value.
