Thirsk winner Hello Roberto has to be respected but a 7lb penalty for that success may just anchor the five-year-old and, in a tough finale, it may be worth taking a chance on the fitness of Convince, who is preferred to Double M and Blessed Place. The last mentioned has solid claims at the weights but would probably prefer a softer surface, while Double M has more to do than when landing a banded race at Kempton last time. Caustic Wit is capable but inconsistent, while Witchry lost his way last term and is hard to recommend on his reappearance. Milton Bradley's Coranglais has been running with credit and is entitled to be thereabouts but preference is for stablemate Convince, who lacks a recent run but has gone well when fresh in the past and has dropped to a fair mark.
