    In depth

    Verdict

In a very tricky race, we will opt for Didnt We ahead of Golden Dixie and Peopleton Brook. Golden Dixie and Didnt We are types that could jump and run and, from their current ratings, can be considered today, not least because they are both well-drawn. Intrepid Jack would rate as a major player were it not for his draw, while If Paradise will probably find this level a bit easier than he has been contesting of late. Peopleton Brook is back to a winning mark from earlier in the year and might go well, while Bluebok bounced back to winning ways at Yarmouth last time but a four-pounds rise will make things trickier. Hoh Hoh Hoh got the better of Greek Renaissance last time and appears to be on the up so can be considered. Because of their draw and the fact that they need a career-best effort to feature today, we have left out a number of the others from calculations which, in turn, leads us back to the selection, which is Didnt We.
