In depth

Verdict

Contingency Fee has been doing his winning at a lower level and couldn’t cope with a lower mark at Southwell last time. SIMBIRSK just came up short on his first run for John O’Shea at Windsor and a repeat of that effort would suffice here, despite a 3lb rise, with Champs De Reves returning from a break having changed stables. Maroc has had wind surgery since finishing second over hurdles in February but course and distance winner Zephyros may pose a bigger threat.
