Verdict

Peter Makin tries Frederick William in blinkers after his flop at Windsor and will be hoping he can recapture previous form on the same track. Watered Silk looked as though he could do with blinkers at Newmarket when he hung badly in the closing stages and has them applied here. He'll be difficult to beat but HIGHLIFE DANCER has been in cracking form on turf at Lingfield and his regular partner's claim will be a help. Princess Gail ran poorly at Thirsk after her victory at Ffos Las and will need to do very much better.
