Verdict

Gramada looks the answer in this trappy looking affair, Sand And Stars and Quizzical Question both look major threats. Paul Blockley's filly is in foal at present and it has certainly improved her racing. She stayed on gamely to win at Beverley last time and if she gets in front early again this afternoon she will be hard to pass. Quizzical Question ran too badly to true last time after making a big impression on her two-year-old debut. She may have been in need of that outing and we expect a much better showing this afternoon. Sand And Stars improved throughout last season and gets in here on a very fair mark. The stable is in top form and she could be the each-way value in the race. All in all a race where caution is advised, but Gramada is in the form of her life and she gets our vote.
