      In depth

      Verdict

Fox Covert looks the most reliable option, with St Ivian and Grand View others to keep a track of in the betting market. Grand View has been kept very busy and seems to be thriving on the activity. He comes here on the back of a couple of fair performance and can make the frame if he is in the same frame of mind. St Ivian has also been a reliable performer for each-way punters, as he has 16 placed efforts to his name from his exploits on the all weather. He has also won three times at this course and knows what to do when he puts his mind to it. The Norma Maculey-trained gelding can give the selection the most to do. However, Fox Covert has marginally stronger form to his name and he is fancied to be hard to beat if this first visit to Dunstall Park triggers his enthusiasm to see things out to the line.
