Verdict

Love Always is the tentative pick in this fillies' affair with Moon Empress and Hanella considered as the plausible alternatives. The selection was tried under marginally different tactics at Folkestone and while consistency isn't her strongest suit, Simon Dow's mare would not have to realise too much improvement in order to be up to today's task. Moon Empress is unexposed on turf so could literally be anything following a spell on the all-weather. Hanella has ran well previously on this surface but has usually needed the run first time out. Boot 'N Toot reserves her better form for uncoventional tracks such as this and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her attracting support on this occasion. Uig returns to the level following three moderate runs over hurdles. A far from straight forward event and Love Always is put forward as our selection.
