Verdict

Sonic got off the mark in a maiden at Uttoxeter at the seventh attempt but looks vulnerable with a penalty. CAPTAIN PEACOCK also carries 7lb extra but took a big step forward when landing a handicap over course and distance at the start of the month when appearing to have plenty in hand. He looks the one to beat reverting to novice company as He's A Goer tackles hurdles for the first time following a break and Desert De Bruyere clearly has some improving to do.
