In depth

Verdict

GROVE PRIDE's second to Vintage Star at Carlisle was a very decent first effort over timber. Henry Daly's Double Trigger gelding is open to plenty of improvement and can go one better here though it will be interesting to see how recent bumper winner Sydney Paget gets on now tackling hurdles and Ffos Las third Salomo appears to be improving with experience. Piroulet may need this and Arbor Supreme hasn't raced since falling in the Grand National in April. Now with Jonjo O'Neill, the latter will be back over fences again shortly.
