Englishtown is taken to follow up his easy Fakenham success, with Itsmyboy, Contact Dancer and Tribal Venture taken to chase him home. The selection absolutely bolted up on his last appearance in May, and having had a break since, lines up fresher than most in his bid to follow up under Tony McCoy. Granted he is as high in the weights as he has ever been, but he gets 5lb off Itsmyboy, and that can prove decisive. The latter appeared to be given plenty to do at Perth when in search of a four-timer, and if he is kept a bit nearer the pace this time, should at least be involved in the finish. Contact Dancer went down in a real battle at Perth and will appreciate the longer journey here, while Tribal Venture is at the right end of the handicap but has to prove himself on fast ground. So, we look to Englishtown as the answer, with trip and ground to suit.
