    Verdict

Santia can go one better than at Exeter although one would have to fear Madame Mado and One More Gypsy. The selection was a well backed favourite on debut but failed to run her race and finished well beaten. She proved that form to be all wrong last month and can take another step forwards by winning this. Petit Fleur ran well to chase home a stablemate of the selection on debut and should go well whilst Calusa Crystal and Utern have also shown ability. The market is always a fair guide in these contests and two likely looking newcomers are One More Gypsy and Madame Modo. The latter is of particular interest as she's a half-sister to the smart Le Volfoni but we'll take experience to win the day and give the nod to Santia.
