In depth

Verdict

Mud Monkey gets the confident vote in the opener, with Beverly Hill Billy and Atacama King rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second on his hurdling debut behind News Of The Day. Looks sure to benefit for the run and with this faster ground also looking to be in his favour he will be hard to beat. Beverly Hill Billy rates the main danger as he won over seven furlongs and was placed off a mark of 76 on the flat over ten furlongs. He hails from a top yard and will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Atacama King was behind the selection on his debut and although he is sure to improve there is no reason why he should gain his revenge on the same terms here. Of the remainder, Devilfishpoker Com looks vulnerable under his penalty, while Clewer showed little on the flat but is from a shrewd yard. Mud Monkey looks sure to improve and he gets our vote.
