Raffish needs a good test of stamina but can confirm the York form with Red Wine despite carrying a 6lb penalty; They All Laughed and Acuzio are others to consider. The last named has run into form lately and, as a consistent type, he can give his supporters a good run for their money. A similar statement applies to They All Laughed, who has enjoyed a profitable spell this season. However, he has crept up the weights as a result and now has a bit to prove. Red Wine dropped a significant hint that he is on the way back with a solid run at York eight days ago - travelling sweetly into the straight before getting tired in the closing stages. Still, that was his best effort for a while and, as he is well treated just now, a bold show cannot be ruled out. Nevertheless, Raffish comfortably outstayed his rivals on the Knavesmire and, as he is really thriving on his racing, Michael Scudamore's charge gets the nod again here.
