Verdict

CARRIGANOG followed an impressive victory over fences at Kilbeggan in July by scoring over hurdles there a month later. Both victories were on quicker ground than he'll face here but he's won on soft in the past and should complete a hat-trick. Ballychorus likes to be up with the pace and her quick jumping has done her proud. She made all over hurdles at Galway a couple of weeks ago and won easily on just her second start over fences at Down Royal in May. She's the obvious danger as Clar Na Mionn has gone backwards since the early part of last year when he twice got close to Foxrock in Grade 2 novice events.
