In depth

Verdict

The handicapper is likely to react badly to yet another very easy victory by UNCLE TAFFY at Gowran on Sunday so Tony Martin is running him with a 6lb penalty here and a fourth successive victory looks on the cards. Rassi Maguire was only beaten two lengths by the selection over this C&D last month and the revised terms would appear to give him an outstanding chance of reversing the form but the winner won very easily and should confirm the placings. Second Glance, who was fourth that day, is also much better off but unlikely to turn the tables. South Wing is running well though he continues to climb the weights without winning while Point The Toes, though running well at present, is still a maiden. Paul Gilligan puts blinkers on Shuttle Mills for the first time and that could wake him up enough to snatch a place.
