Katie Walsh was on board Devil's Elbow when her father's charge won a poor Downpatrick bumper last month. He's penalised for that success on his hurdling debut and faces a stiff task. Abarta showed nothing in bumpers but made a bright start over timber behind Hired Hand at Roscommon and should improve further. BOXER BEAT had run some good races on the Flat without winning before making his hurdling bow here last month where he ran very well behind Magical Memoir. Normal progress will probably see him home here and he has the advantage of Nina Carberry in the saddle. Fearchar is held on that run here and was beaten at Gowran on Sunday and Roybuoy is still a maiden after 17 career starts.
