Verdict

Ed McMahon's Scantily Clad could be of interest on her nursery debut off a mark of 70 following her success in a Haydock maiden recently but marginal preference is for another runner making their first start in this grade, HEARTBREAK. Richard Fahey's colt opened his account when landing an auction maiden event at Redcar at the beginning of the month when rallying late on to win the race and he looks worth backing having been dropped 2lb since then by the handicapper. Kevin Ryan's Nellie Ellis is a consistent performer and should be thereabouts again, while Jim Goldie's Rothesay Chancer has been given a chance by the handicapper.
