In depth

Verdict

Star Links looks sure to make a bold bid as he was placed at Listowel twice last month and this looks no tougher, while Swiftly Done won twice during the summer, but has gone up another 5lb for finishing second over a mile at this track on his latest start. However, SCRAPPER SMITH has been raised only 2lb for his short-head victory over 1m2f here last time and, given he's won on soft ground before and is dropped in class today, Alistair Whillans' gelding looks up to landing a hat-trick. The Osteopath has claims on his best form but ran a shocker at Doncaster last week, while Flipping could finish closer having only his third start of the season.
