In depth

Verdict

ZORAVAN is just 2lb higher than when scoring over the course and distance on fast ground in August. He was caught in the dying strides on his comeback at Carlisle and can go one better. Colour Contrast was on a hat-trick in another division of that event but missed the break badly and never got going. He had earlier beaten Donnelly's Rainbow over 3l at Musselburgh though the latter will be 8lb better off and should get much closer. Robben Rainbow is also much better off with Colour Contrast for a 6l beating and has since improved to dead-heat on the same track so he has to be considered with Paul Hanagan booked. Polyphony reappears after since October when beaten a head at Redcar. She only had six runs last term and has more scope than most of these.
