In depth

Verdict

Isellido has as good a chance as any and merits consideration ahead of Brooklyn Breeze, Culcabock and No Picnic to name but three. Isellido has been in great form lately, following up a decent win at Sedgefield by accounting for Culcabock at Hexham. That showed how much she is progressing, and Richard Guest's five-year-old has the scope to defy a rise in the weights, although Culcabock should make a race on these terms. After scoring over fences at Carlisle in November 2003, Brooklyn Breeze was being touted as Cheltenham material but was sidelined for nearly a year before returning over hurdles last month. In need of both those runs, Len Lungo's charge will be fitter but the concession of weight to the selection may prove too much for him. No Picnic is honest and will keep on, but even this trip appears to be on the short side, while Broken Knights was useful a while back but is sure to need the run. Isellido has the scope to go in again.
