Verdict

Recent Hamilton winner Fourth Generation has plenty to prove over this longer trip and Chookie Hamilton hasn't been at his best on Turf since scoring on the Polytrack in March. Callisto Moon was a narrow-margin winner at Catterick last time and this is tougher while Hawdyerwheesht isn't getting any closer despite tumbling down the weights. The latter's stablemate, FORREST FLYER, has won three times over C&D including this race in 2010. He's back on a winning mark here and, with plenty seemingly in his favour, Jim Goldie's charge gets the vote.
