In depth

Verdict

Armaguedon, King Barry and Silver Jack are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the vote is given to Armaguedon. The selection won well last time out when beating Shares. He has plenty of scope for improvement and off what remains a fair mark and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. King Barry rates the main danger on his latest second behind The Bajan Bandit but he found less than expected off the bridle on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Silver Jack is another that could go well on his latest second behind Jimmy Bond but all his best form is on soft or heavy ground and this faster surface may find him out. Of the remainder Banchory Two looks to be on a handy mark and could go well at a price but he has been continually been let down by his jumping of late and for that reason he is opposed and with this in mind for the winner we return to the progressive Armaguedon.
