Verdict

Impressive in handicap company at Aintree in a handicap last time, Dark'n Sharp should be tough to beat back in novice company if over his exertions at the Liverpool venue. However, that is likely to be reflected by a short price in the market and in receipt of 3lb there will be plenty of support for the Paul Nicholls-trained Kadarann. The front-runner was never troubled at Wincanton last time but is unlikely to have things all his own way here. Indien Du Boulay looks best of the rest.
