Verdict

The consistent Blenheim Brook won over 3m at Newcastle last month and looks sure to be in the firing-line once again. He has a couple of pounds in hand on official ratings, but DOWD'S DESTINY is taken to improve past him here. The latter scored over a slightly longer trip at this track at the start of the month and there looks plenty more to come on only his third start over fences. Storming Gale showed a bit more last time when a well beaten runner-up at Catterick, while Irish raider Yes Tom has won over timber at this course but fell over the larger obstacles at Gowran last time.
