Verdict

Wayward Glance won just once from 10 starts on the Flat but was a decent staying handicap with a rating of 83. He's from the right yard to be spot-on for his debut over timber but faces a very stiff task conceding weight to ONE LUCKY LADY. Nicky Henderson's filly improved with racing on the level and made a very promising debut over hurdles at Huntingdon when 2l adrift of Asaid with the remainder, including today's rivals Ya Hafed and Mattoral, in another parish. Time may tell she was taking on something decent and compensation awaits here.
