Verdict

Mr Wagyu has won seven times including over the track and trip last month though he disappointed from a 4lb higher mark at Doncaster a week later. Be Proud was beaten a neck in that former event and is 1lb better off so there's unlikely to be much between them again. MEDICINE JACK won a Listed contest when trained in Ireland and rated 97. He showed his first sign of form for Roger Fell at Haydock last time and is now on a mark he should be winning from. Abate landed a 5f Thirsk handicap before just touched off from 4lb higher at Hamilton and has gone up another 2lb. Spring Bloom is consistent though was beaten 7 lengths when runner-up at Thirsk a couple of weeks ago.
