      Verdict

      Sound Of Iona has yet to win but would have finished much closer to Gowanbuster at Musselburgh last week if getting a clear run. CUBAN AFFAIR looked like winning for a long way over 6f at Redcar but couldn't hold the late thrust of Imperial Gloriana. Dropping in trip can see her go one better. Rockingham Jill was unlucky in-running at Bath in May last year though the form hasn't worked out and she's changed stables. Stars In The Night couldn't quite go the pace at Beverley though that was her first start since August and she stayed on well. Autumn Colours cost $50,000 and is a half-sister to four winners so is interesting on her debut.
