In depth

Verdict

SHE’S PUKKA (NAP) beat only two rivals to win on her racecourse debut in heavy going at Carlisle. But both of the defeated horses were rated similar to today’s opposition and Iain Jardine’s filly has plenty of scope. Mustaqbal and Cliff Bay won their respective divisions of the same apprentices’ race over a mile at last week’s meeting here and both escape a penalty but Riviere Argentee carries 6lb extra for winning at Catterick just two days ago. Bo Bridget has been thereabouts in Ireland recently and could go well again.
