Verdict

YES TOM had solid form in bumpers last season and has taken well to hurdles, finishing in the frame in all three starts so far. He will probably have to settle better than he did when runner-up to Ballabriggs over 2m4f here last time if he's to get home over the longer trip but is definitely the one to beat if his stamina holds out. Sunnyside beat Moon Indigo over this trip at Hexham in October but was a little disappointing when only sixth at Carlisle later the same month. He is probably the danger if fully wound-up, though Arctic Court is a C&D winner and was taking on much stronger opposition when pulled up at Huntingdon last month.
