In depth

Verdict

Fieldgunner Kirkup had his first five starts over this trip but his last 15 have been over further. His recent victories have been over 7f and he's now on a career-high mark. It's a long time since Beckermet won over 6f but he'll handle the ground and has slipped down the ratings to a mark he can win from while Frequency, who has won 11 races, has a victory on soft ground to his credit though he's better on quicker going or Polytrack. BREEZOLINI has had a light campaign and has been running well enough to to suggest she can go in again as both victories this year have come on very heavy going at Doncaster and Hamilton - there could be a bit more improvement in her.
