Verdict

Simmply Sam won over a shorter trip here in January but has struggled in a couple of subsequent starts. Andhaar has been thereabouts over 3m at Musselburgh, but on good ground, while What A Dream reverts to the smaller obstacles for the first time since 2011 having won twice in 29 starts over fences. TOMAHAWK WOOD scored in heavy going over track and trip on his latest start and Donald Whillans’ charge is fancied to shrug off a 7lb rise in the weights in this company.
