Verdict

Mister Philson found only The Friary too good over track and trip last month but has just the one victory in 14 starts over fences. Etxalar has a better strike rate but is upped in class after a victory at Carlisle. Samstown is not easily dismissed after going close over 3m4f at Wincanton last time but both Railway Dillon and Kealigolane are looking to put recent poor efforts behind them. FENTARA has been threatening to get her head back in front this year. She looks to have a slightly easier task in this after her latest third to Wicklow Lad at Newcastle and the vote goes to Mark Walford's mare.
