Verdict

If the vibes concerning the Wesley Ward runners are accurate, then it's going to be a week of celebration for the USA and HAPPY LIKE A FOOL is reputed to be one of the strongest chances of their week. An easy winner of her sole start at Keeneland, she has clearly been prepared with this race in mind and Ryan Moore is booked, all of which makes her very hard to oppose, especially as the yard has landed the last two runnings of this contest with Acapulco and Lady Aurelia. Bookmakers are suggesting in their ante-post markets that Heartache is the prime UK challenger but impressive as she was on debut, this is a massive step up from a Bath maiden. Chica La Habana makes more appeal as she did really well to overcome significantly more experienced fillies on debut in the Hilary Needler at Beverley and Jim Crowley is an eyecatching booking for the Cowell team. Neola is respected on the back of an excellent run in a competitive Listed contest at York, whilst both Mrs Gallagher and Formidable Kitt posted pleasing winning debuts. Treasuring and Mamba Noire are decent Irish outsiders and are preferred in that order.
