Verdict

A tough one to call but Sue Alner has enjoyed a tremendous spell in points over the last few months and has made an effortless switch with the strike-rate with her runners over regulation fences. Therefore, Miss O'Grady, who has already done her bit for the statistics with two victories from her last three starts, is the logical choice to be on as the stable are in such god form. Sikander A Azam goes well fresh and is worth considering if money comes for him today. However, he is making his debut at Ascot here and thus has a little to prove. So too does Bold Tactics, who despite having solid form to his name will do well to stay at the head of the pack if he runs his usual race. Therefore, the safest option looks to be Miss O'Grady, as she is nothing but game and acted really well on her only previous visit to this course.
