Mamillius scored over 7f at Leicester and attempts this longer trip for the first time while In The Red also won over 7f at Goodwood in May but has scored over a mile before. Golden Wedding was second again at Newbury recently and is closely matched on collateral form with Archie while FIRE TREE won at Wetherby on his latest start. The latter has been raised 7lb but an apprentice’s allowance negates a big chunk of that and Charlie Fellowes’ charge should go close again. Kingston Kurrajong has a chance on his best form but was due to run at Newbury yesterday.
