Verdict

Boy In The Bar never looked like catching the winner at Newmarket last time but had won at Goodwood before that with STELLARTA (NAP) back in fifth. But the latter re-opposes on better terms today having gone close in this grade at Windsor recently and a bold bid is expected form Michael Blanshard’s mare. Major Pusey is best with some cut in the ground while Patchwork returns to 6f having gone close over 7f on his handicap debut. Atletico was having his first start since 2015 when third at Ripon so improvement is expected from him while Jordan Sport finished ahead of Little Palaver when fourth in a competitive sprint on the all-weather last time.
