      Verdict

Alcaeus showed progressive form last year when rattling up six wins. He returns to action off a 4lb higher mark after winning at Musselburgh in September and may well figure, but MIN ALEMARAT is preferred. Marco Botti's three-year-old won a maiden race at Haydock doing handstands on his latest start and is worth sticking with stepping up in trip. Hassle's winning run came to an end at Chester last time and Rockfella makes more appeal on his second at Salisbury on his reappearance. Ronaldinho was still well beaten when runner-up at Windsor on his return to the Flat.
