In depth

Verdict

This may be best left to Kirk Wynd, who as the least exposed runner in the filed, is taken to find the necessary improvement to hold the likes of la Dolfina and Czarina Waltz close home. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained selection showed a good attitude when landing a Chepstow maiden on his reappearance and does not have to find too much to step up on that here. The assistance of Kieren Fallon is another obvious plus and the daughter of Selkirk can enhance her paddocks reputation if she delivers on the promise of her debut. La Dolfina comes here at the top of her game but this is a much tougher task than she has faced of late. Czarina Waltz has a tenancy to sweat up heavily before her race but is a reliable sort nonetheless. However, she faces no easy task in giving weight away to an improving sort like Kirk Wynd at this stage.
