This has gone to a three-year-old for the last 10 years and it's difficult to see the four older horses reversing the trend. AL THAKHIRA won the Group 2 Rockfel at Newmarket a year ago and has been operating at a high level subsequently. She returned from finishing last in the Irish 1000 Guineas in May to run a cracking race in the Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster last month and this looks slightly easier, despite the big field. Queen Catrine has been very highly tried since gaining her only victory at Ayr last summer and her performance in a Listed handicap here in June when just failing to concede 7lb to Muteela puts her clearly in the picture. Felwah is still improving and gained her fourth victory from six starts at Salisbury a month ago where she stayed on very strongly. The likes of Joys Of Spring and Meeting Waters are consistent enough but will need to find extra in this company.
