Steps won this a year ago and, though penalised he's been performing with credit in better company. Ladies Are Forever has already won at Listed and Group 3 level this season and ran another excellent race when just failing to cope with the very progressive Naadirr in a Listed contest at York last time. Justice Day is very useful on his day but does better with some give in the ground while Online Alexander was behind Steps and Demora in the Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster. MUTHMIR (NAP) steps out of handicap company for the first time and should be well up to this. He was a very impressive winner of the Portland at Doncaster and the only surprise is that he hasn't been sent straight into Group company, though the fast ground he enjoys may not be available over the next few weeks so this should suffice for now.
