Verdict

This is a very classy renewal so the likes of Swincombe Toby, Consortium and Impulsive American could be found wanting. Pinkie Brown would have to show marked improvement on his maiden win at Wetherby but did have some decent form in France. La Paimpolaise was a bit disappointing at Taunton and she looks to have too much weight but Adrien Du Pont won a Grade 1 at Chepstow in January and Oceane's last two runs have been in Grade 2 company. BERLAND (NAP) had Ashoka behind when third at Kempton in December. He is 5lb better off than when only beaten a couple of lengths by St Saviour in February and can come out on top today.
