Verdict

What's The Scoop had a race in the bag over 2m at Sandown last month but tried to run out approaching the last. He's clearly not straightforward and it may not pay to take too short a price about Nicky Henderson's charge here. Firsty will need to improve markedly on his UK debut at Exeter to land this but Dark Flame is worth a second look as he has been placed in two of his four starts over timber and highly tried in the other two. BIM BAM BOUM was second over this trip at Taunton two runs ago and may not have got home over further at Wincanton later. Harry Fry's five-year-old deserves another chance with Midnight Cowboy looking best of the rest.
