Verdict

Mon Brav's stamina has to be suspect while Almadan already looks exposed. Flicka Williams can only improve on his distant third at Carlisle, however, while Classic Case has already shown promise in point-to-points and bumpers. GEVREY CHAMBERTIN won a Ffos Las bumper on his racecourse debut last December and was beaten less than five lengths by the winner when fourth in a Listed contest at Newbury in February. Sure to have had plenty of schooling, David Pipe's four-year-old is the one to beat here though another bumper winner, Many Clouds, was highly tried after winning at Wetherby in February.
