Leeds United's out-of-favour midfielder Michael Tonge has joined Millwall on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has slipped down the pecking order at Elland Road this season following the emergence of teenagers Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt and is out of contract in the summer.
Tonge progressed through Sheffield United's academy and made over 280 appearances for the Blades before moving to Stoke in a £2million deal in the summer of 2008.
But he made only one start for Stoke in the Barclays Premier League and went out on loan to Preston in November 2009. He had further temporary spells at Derby, Preston and Barnsley before joining Leeds, initially on loan, in September 2012.
Tonge secured a permanent deal with Leeds in January 2013 and made a total of 54 appearances.
